Initial consults are designed to educate you on your health and provide targeted information about the changes that occur during menopause.
During our consult. we will:
Review your health history
Identify treatment goals
Review risks and benefits associated with various treatment options
Order any required investigations (labs, ultrasounds etc.)
Create a custom treatment plan tailored to you
Our goal is to provide you with information as to why specific treatments and interventions may benefit you. You will leave with the confidence to make an informed decision about your health.

The first follow up session usually occurs around the 3 month mark and then periodically to adjust your treatment plan.
In this session we will:
Review your current treatment plan
Identify areas that could be optimized
Implement changes as necessary

There's no formal "menopause specialist" designation in Canada, and most clinicians receive very little menopause education during their training. The most recognized credential in this field is the Menopause Society Certified Practitioner (MSCP) designation, awarded by The Menopause Society.
Victoria is a Nurse Practitioner licensed in Alberta and Ontario who holds the MSCP designation, with over ten years of clinical experience in women's health, including labour and delivery, urogynecology, perimenopause and menopause care.

Yes. Initial consultations are $400 (60 minutes) and follow-up appointments are $200 (30 minutes). You'll receive a receipt you can submit to your extended health benefits plan; many plans cover nurse practitioner services.

We can. It will depend on the treatment plan and care you need to feel like yourself again.

Yes, when clinically relevant. Not everyone needs bloodwork; menopause and perimenopause are diagnosed based on your symptoms and history, and we'll discuss whether testing adds value in your situation. If labs or other investigations are needed, we can order them for you.

We typically like to see you three months after your initial consultation to review how your treatment plan is working, then every six months to a year. If your symptoms change between appointments, you can book a follow-up at any time.

No! Anyone experiencing perimenopause or menopause symptoms can book a consultation with us.

We offer both virtual and in person consultations for residents in Alberta and Ontario. In person appointments take place in Edmonton, Alberta.

This varies based on your insurance plan and provider. We do not offer direct billing at this time.
